Return Policy

At Future Charging Solutions, we do not keep chargers in stock. All chargers are shipped directly from the supplier, and their return policies apply accordingly. Please refer to each product page for the specific return policy applicable to that charger.

SEVR & ZAPTEC Products

The key terms of the warranty for the SEVR Chargers are as follows:

(a)  We do not accept returns for change of mind or other circumstances. However, you may have rights to a repair, replacement, or refund under the Australian Consumer Law.  

(b)  Nothing in these Terms attempts to modify or exclude the conditions, warranties and undertakings, and other legal rights, under the Australian Consumer Law (Consumer Law Rights). All other warranties or conditions which are not guaranteed by the Australian Consumer Law are expressly excluded where permitted, except to the extent such warranties and conditions are fully expressed in these Terms.  

(c)  Where you return products to us to seek an Australian Consumer Law remedy, you will need to cover any associated costs (for example delivery costs) of you returning the products to us.  

(d)  Where your claim is a valid claim under the Australian Consumer Law, we will refund your return delivery costs and, depending on the failure, either dispatch a new or repaired replacement product or refund you the Price of the relevant product.  

OHME Products

The key terms of the warranty for the Ohme chargers are as follows:

• The device is protected by a manufacturer’s warranty for 36 months from the date of installation (warranty period). This covers parts and labour.

• The minimum operational life of the Ohme ePod exceeds 36 months.

• The warranty covers on-site assistance, repairs and replacements, at no cost to you (except for your own expenses in claiming the warranty).

The warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship under normal use. During the warranty period, Ohme will refund, repair or replace, at its discretion, at no charge, products or parts of the product which prove defective because of improper materials or workmanship under normal use and maintenance. This will include labour costs to repair or replace the unit at the installation site.

Ohme will either repair the product or replace the product. Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods. A replacement product will be subject to the remaining warranty period of the original product or for 180 days from the date of the replacement or repair, whichever is longer.

The warranty does not cover any issues that are caused by conditions, malfunctions, or damage not resulting from defects in the charging unit. The warranty does not cover damage or malfunction directly caused by abuse, misuse, negligence, accident, improper use, including

but not limited to:

• Failure to follow the instructions and warnings provided in the product literature

• The environment or “Acts of God” such as fire, earthquake, flood

• General appearance of the product such as discolouration or damage to paint, labels, scratches, dents and cracks

• Any repair, alteration or modification to the product other than those authorised by Ohme.

The benefits to you given by this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies you may have under applicable consumer protection law in relation to the goods to which this warranty relates.

For Australian purchases, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Consumer Guarantees). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage that has been shown beyond a reasonable doubt not to have been caused by the installation or use of the Ohme Product in accordance with all instructions and guidance as to installation and use, act of God or natural disaster or environmental conditions other than those for which the Ohme Product was designed and manufactured. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

OCULAR Products

The key terms of the warranty for the Occular Chargers supplier are as follows:

(a) In Australia, our goods come with guarantees which cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

(b) In addition to any other rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law we warrant to you that the product we supply to you will be free from defects for the period of time set out in the warranty documentation supplied with the product (Warranty).

(c) What is a defect? Our Warranty applies to any fault, error or defects in the products arising by reason of improper workmanship or materials (Defect).

(d) What do you need to do to claim the Warranty? Within the warranty period, if you believe you have a product the subject of a Defect you must cease using the product and contact us in writing along with photo and/or video evidence and description of the Defect. If we ask you to, you must return to us the defective products, together with all packaging, parts, accessories, documentation and proof of purchase to the contact details set out below.

(e) Where you return a product as part of a Defect claim you will need to cover any associated costs of you returning the products to us and where we find the product is covered by our Defect we will refund the associated costs of you returning the product to us.

(f) When we receive the products you return, we will assess the alleged Defect and make a determination as to whether the claim is valid under our Warranty.

(g) What will we do if you make a successful claim under our Warranty? We will, at our own cost:

(1) repair or replace the product (the decision of whether to repair or replace is at our sole discretion); or

(2) if we are unable to repair or replace the product, we will offer you a choice of a credit, refund or compensation as applicable to the Defect.

(h) Damage Not covered by our Warranty. The Warranty does not cover any Defect which is caused (or partly caused) or contributed to, by any:

(1) reasonable wear and tear;

(2) act or omission, accident, or negligence by you or any third party not engaged by us (including any third-party installer of the product);

(3) failure on your part to follow any instructions or guidelines (including any manual) provided by us or the manufacturer in relation to the product.

(4) use of the product other than for any application or use specified by us or the manufacturer;

(5) continued use of your product (where such use is not reasonable) after any defect in your product becomes apparent or would have become apparent to a reasonably prudent person;

(6) incorporation or installation of fixtures, appliances or other items into your product;

(7) failure by you to notify us of any defect in your product within a reasonable period of time after you become aware of or ought to have reasonably become aware of the relevant defect; or

(8) installation, repair, replacement, maintenance, altering, overhauling or otherwise compromise of the product by you or any person other than us or the manufacturer.

Australian Consumer Law

SMAPPEE Products

The Buyer is obliged to immediately take into receipt the Products and to check that the delivered amount and quality of the Products correspond to that which has been contractually agreed. Smappee must be immediately informed of any complaints with regard to a non-compliant delivery or visible defects and they should be confirmed by a reasoned written statement sent by registered mail within seven (7) days after delivery, upon penalty of forfeiture.

A. Smappee can under no circumstances be held liable for problems that arise as a result of improper use of the Product, problems as a result of force majeure, and as a result of acts or intentional errors by any other person including the Buyer, or his staff.

B. Smappee can under no circumstances be held liable for damage resulting from incorrect installation of the Product.

C. Hidden faults can only give rise to compensation, upon penalty of forfeiture, if they were identified with appropriate haste and submitted to Smappee within eight (8) days after the identification thereof, and in any event within eight (8) calendar days of when the hidden faults should have been discovered, by registered mail and the Products have not already been processed.

D. In the event of a late objection according to the period stated in this article, the Buyer is considered to have approved and accepted the Products and price charged.

E. If the Buyer formulates a complaint and this complaint is demed founded by Smappee, after investigation, the Buyer shall have the choice either to return the Products and have the price reimbursed, or to keep the Products and have part of the price reimbursed, or to repair or replace the Product free of charge.

EVNEX Products

The key terms of the warranty for the EVNEX chargers are as follows

Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and similar state and territory legislation, consumers have certain rights which cannot be excluded, including guarantees as to the acceptable quality and fitness for purpose of goods and services.

A. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be read or applied so as to exclude, restrict or modify or have the effect of excluding, restricting or modifying any condition, warranty, guarantee, right or remedy implied by law (including the ACL) and which by law cannot be excluded, restricted or modified.

B. The ACL sets out minimum standards for Devices sold by us. Where the ACL applies, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or a refund in accordance with the ACL.

C. We do not accept returns or exchanges for Devices unless they are faulty or damaged. This means if you order a Device that is not suitable for your needs, or if you change your mind, we will only process returns or exchanges at our discretion. We may, at our discretion, charge a restocking fee of up to 15% of the sale price of the item. The freight cost of returning the item to us will be paid by you.

D. If pre-orders are made available for Devices the estimated time of arrival will be subject to change. If you place a pre-order you acknowledge that potential delays may occur.

E. Some of our electric vehicle charging Devices may have variable charging rates. These rates may be lower or higher at certain times of day depending on overall electricity consumption in the local area, or the wider grid. We reserve the right to restrict charging rates remotely by default, but you may choose to override restrictions for the current charging session by using the Apps or the Portal.

F. Devices may not, in any case, be disconnected from the Evnex cloud software or connected to any third party back-office or OCPP cloud software without Evnex’s written permission. In all cases, disconnection (break) fees will apply.

NAYAX Products

The key terms of the warranty for the Nayax Chargers are as follows:

30 days from the invoice date (if unopened) for a full refund, minus postage.

EVBOX Products

Accepts returns of EV box chargers within 14 days of purchase, provided the items are in their original, unused, undamaged, and resalable condition. A restocking fee may apply depending on the return and item condition. If damage occurs during delivery, immediate notification with photographic evidence is required within 3 days.
