Future-Ready EV Charging Infrastructure for Car Dealerships, Service Centers and Repair shops
Is Your Dealership EV Ready?
With almost 1 in 6 new cars sold in NSW now electric, the shift to electric vehicles is no longer on the horizon — it's already here. NSW leads all Australian states with the highest number of EVs on the road and fast-charging stations installed.
Today's car buyers are arriving at dealerships expecting to see, test, and purchase EVs — and they expect those vehicles to be charged and ready. Your stock, demo, and display vehicles all need to be powered up and presented at their best.
At Future Charging Solutions, we help car dealerships across NSW supply and install approved AC and DC EV chargers, making it simple to get your dealership EV ready.
DRIVEN Charger Rebate Program
The Government Will Pay For Your Chargers
The NSW Government's DRIVEN Charger Rebate is a real cash rebate — not a loan, not a tax offset — that covers a significant portion of your EV charger installation costs. And we handle every single part of the application for you.
$21,000
Maximum Rebate Per Site. $3,000 per eligible charging plug
⏰ Next Round Opens July 2026
The previous round closed on April 30, 2026. The next round opens shortly after July 1, 2026 and runs until April 2028. Funding is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis — once it's gone, it's gone. The dealerships that move first will claim the most.
We Handle the Entire Application — You Just Say Yes
Grant applications can be confusing and time-consuming. That's why we take care of everything on your behalf, so you can focus on running your dealership.
How It Works
Simple 4-Step Process
From your first call to a fully installed and rebate-claimed charging solution — we make it easy every step of the way.
Don't Let Your Competitors Get There First!
Book your free site assessment today. We'll visit your dealership, assess your needs, and show you exactly what's possible — including how to maximise your government rebate.
What Happens If
You're Not Ready?
Lost Sales
If a customer walks into your showroom and your demo EV is flat, that's a lost sale. Buyers expect to test drive a fully charged vehicle — a dead battery means they walk out the door and into a competitor's showroom.
EVs are no longer a niche market — they are rapidly becoming the norm. The dealerships that invest in EV charging infrastructure now are the ones that will capture this fast-growing market. Those that wait risk being left behind.
Damaged Reputation
In today's connected world, a poor experience spreads fast. A dealership that can't keep its EVs charged signals to customers that you're not serious about the electric future — and that perception is hard to shake.
Competitors Get Ahead
If your competitors down the road are already EV-ready and you're not, customers will simply go elsewhere. With 1 in 6 new cars now electric, that's a significant and growing share of the market you can't afford to miss.

Standard rebate: Up to $3,000 per eligible charging plug or portable DC charger
Maximum per site: $21,000 per eligible site
Portable DC chargers: Must cost at least $2,500 to qualify
-
YES! This is a major opportunity many dealerships miss:
• You can claim $21,000 for EACH automotive manufacturer you represent at the same
eligible site
• Example: If your site has showrooms for Toyota, Mazda, and BMW, you can claim $63,000
total ($21,000 × 3 manufacturers)
• You must submit a separate application for each franchise agreement
-
You can claim for BOTH:
• You are eligible to receive $21,000 for EACH eligible business operating on the site
• Total site cap: $42,000 ($21,000 for dealership + $21,000 for service centre)
• Important: You will need to apply for each separately
Note: This is separate from the multiple manufacturer rule above. If you have multiple manufacturers AND
both a showroom and service centre, you could potentially claim even more!
-
If you received less than $3,000 per plug in Round 1, you may be eligible for a supplementary rebate to bring your total rebate per plug to the current max of $3,000
You will need to submit a new application in this round
The department will contact eligible applicants to support this process
