Schneider Tethered

(A) SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY

Schneider Electric provides a 24-month factory warranty from the delivery date for applicable EVlink AC charging stations.

Certain Schneider Electric EV charging products may also be eligible for an extended manufacturer's warranty.

The manufacturer's warranty is provided in addition to any rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Where Future Charging Solutions supplied the charger to you, please contact us in the first instance regarding a fault or warranty issue. We will assess the issue and, where appropriate, coordinate the manufacturer's warranty process with Schneider Electric.

(B) FAULTY OR DEFECTIVE CHARGERS

If you believe your Schneider Electric EV charger is faulty, please contact Future Charging Solutions before removing, opening, modifying or returning the charger.

We may ask you to provide:

• proof of purchase or invoice number;

• charger model and serial number;

• photographs of the charger and installation;

• details of the fault and any error codes;

• commissioning information; and

• any other information reasonably required to diagnose the issue or process the warranty claim.

We may undertake remote troubleshooting or arrange for the charger to be inspected before determining the appropriate remedy.

This assessment process does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

(C) DO NOT OPEN OR MODIFY THE CHARGER

Schneider Electric requires its EV charging equipment to be installed and used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

Customers should not open, dismantle, modify or attempt to repair a Schneider Electric EV charger unless authorised to do so.

Unauthorised modification, incorrect installation or use contrary to Schneider Electric's instructions may affect the manufacturer's warranty.

This does not exclude any rights that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

(D) AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

If a product has a major failure, you may be entitled to choose a refund or replacement and may also be entitled to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

If a product has a minor failure, Future Charging Solutions may choose to repair, replace or otherwise remedy the problem within a reasonable time.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are separate from, and may extend beyond, Schneider Electric's manufacturer's warranty period.

(E) CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS

Future Charging Solutions is not required to provide a refund or replacement where a customer simply changes their mind.

However, we may, at our discretion, accept a change-of-mind return where:

• you contact us within 14 days of delivery;

• the charger has not been installed, connected, commissioned, configured or used;

• the product is unopened and remains in its original packaging;

• the product and packaging are undamaged and suitable for resale;

• all accessories, cables, documentation and components are included; and

• the product was not specially ordered or configured for the customer.

All change-of-mind returns require prior approval from Future Charging Solutions.

Return freight and any reasonable supplier restocking or handling charges may apply and will be advised before the return is accepted.

These conditions apply only to change-of-mind returns and do not limit your rights in relation to faulty products under the Australian Consumer Law.

(F) INSTALLED OR COMMISSIONED CHARGERS

We generally do not accept change-of-mind returns for chargers that have already been:

• installed;

• electrically connected;

• commissioned;

• configured;

• activated; or

• used.

This restriction does not apply where the customer is entitled to a remedy because the product fails to meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law.

(G) WARRANTY ASSESSMENT

Where a charger is reported as faulty, Future Charging Solutions may undertake troubleshooting and testing before determining whether the issue relates to:

• the charger hardware;

• installation;

• electrical supply;

• circuit protection;

• commissioning or configuration;

• network or internet connectivity;

• software or backend services;

• vehicle compatibility; or

• another external cause.

If the charger is confirmed to have a product fault, we will work with Schneider Electric and the customer to arrange the appropriate manufacturer's warranty or Australian Consumer Law remedy.

If the charger is found not to be faulty and the problem relates to installation, site infrastructure, configuration, communications or another external cause, additional service or call-out charges may apply. We will advise you before carrying out any chargeable work.

(H) RETURN OF FAULTY EQUIPMENT

Please do not return a charger to Future Charging Solutions or Schneider Electric without first contacting us and receiving return instructions.

Installed chargers must only be disconnected by an appropriately qualified and licensed electrician.

Where the return relates to a failure covered by the Australian Consumer Law, Future Charging Solutions will comply with its obligations regarding reasonable return, collection and transportation costs.

(I) INCORRECT OR DAMAGED DELIVERIES

Please contact Future Charging Solutions as soon as reasonably practicable if:

• you receive the incorrect product;

• items are missing from your order; or

• the equipment appears to have been damaged during delivery.

Please retain the original packaging and provide photographs where possible.

Where Future Charging Solutions supplied an incorrect product or the equipment was damaged before delivery, we will arrange an appropriate remedy at no additional cost where required by law.

(J) INSTALLATION WARRANTY

Where Future Charging Solutions has also carried out the installation, our installation workmanship is separate from Schneider Electric's product warranty.

If a problem relates to work performed by Future Charging Solutions, we will assess and rectify the issue in accordance with our contractual obligations and the Australian Consumer Law.

(K) MAKING A CLAIM

For returns, faults or warranty claims, please contact:

We will assess your request and advise you of the next steps, which may include troubleshooting, inspection, repair, replacement or return arrangements.

(L) YOUR CONSUMER RIGHTS

Schneider Electric's manufacturer's warranty and this policy are additional to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

A manufacturer's stated warranty period does not necessarily determine how long your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
